If you’ve been on a dancefloor this year, you’ve already heard SURAYA. The Irish/Persian vocalist has spent the last year becoming the secret weapon for the electronic music elite.  

Now, she is stepping out from the liner notes and back into her own spotlight with “You Got My Love,” her highly anticipated return to solo work released via Paragon Records.

Born in Salthill, Galway to a Persian father and Irish mother, SURAYA spent her first nine years on the west coast of Ireland before her family relocated to Dubai. At 14, she returned to Ireland, this time to Dungloe, County Donegal, where music became her compass. As a teenager she busked the streets of Galway to pay for the bus home, and cut her teeth fronting heavy metal and hardcore bands, even supporting Ultrabeat, before the dancefloor ultimately claimed her voice.  

SURAYA’s renewed focus on her solo project is backed by an undeniable resume of global tastemaker support. She recently delivered a massive trifecta of releases alongside Showtek - including the show-stopping "Toda La Noche," which trance legend Armin van Buuren rinsed during his live ASOT set in Miami and has since been officially released. Her underground credibility is just as airtight. Max Styler has been playing her vocal on an unreleased track live, earning major rotation from Solomun and CamelPhat, and her Coachella-tested track, "Side to Side" with Roddy Lima, was released on Layton Giordani’s Madminds NYC.

With an additional slate of projects featuring Daniel Orpi, SURAYA is operating at the highest level of dance music. "You Got My Love" captures her bold, soulful vocal signature in its purest form, a testament to an artist channelling her lived reality into undeniable energy, fully ready to claim centre stage.
